The Barra Nationals, the "Ultimate Fishing Tournament" continues to grow and go from strength to strength. In 2009, Ray Colley took over the co-ordinators role from long-time co-ordinator Paul Williams, and with the able assistance of the Barra Nationals sub-committee and a tireless band of volunteers, another highly successful competition was enjoyed by all. A total of 178 anglers in 59 teams took part.
