OUR CLUBROOMS

Our clubrooms are the heart of what the Palmerston Game Fishing Club is all about. A safe and friendly atmosphere allows our members to bring there children along to play in the safety of the fully grassed play area. With swing sets and a basketball court they can play till there hearts are content while mum and dad enjoy some time with friends. On Friday nights 'Bait Casters Bar' is open from 7pm and the kitchen from 7.30pm. Combine that with the Big Screen Projector and what more can you ask from a Friday night.

For members and bona fide guests we have a full liquor license. By adhering to safe drinking guidelines we pride ourselves on the fact that we never have any troubles like those experienced by other licensed premises in the Northern Territory.

We sell a full range of low alcohol beer we sell a full range of mid and full strength and some imported beers. We carry a small range of wines as well as all the popular spirits and associated mixers. Cold water is provided free and tea and coffee is available, some light snacks are also available. All this and one of the cheapest bar prices in town.

Our clubrooms are open every Friday from 7pm till late, we hold a members badge draw at 8.30pm and occasionally we organise meat tray raffles as well.

The club is open at other times though out the year for special events such as:

Club Information Nights.
Sporting Events.
Competition Weigh Ins.
Reviver Days.
We also hire the club rooms out for functions of many types.

We have set a dress code for entry to the club that has a minimum of the following:

Men

Shoes, Runners or Sandles. Thongs should have a rear strap.
Shorts or long pants

Ladies

Shoes, Runners or Sandles. Scuffs or masuers are okay
Shorts, skirts or long pants.
Definitely no singlets.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership to our club is simple, you can join as a single or as a family. Anyone can become a member.

We have several membership options:

Single Membership $45 inc GST
Family Membership $65 inc GST
Single Pensioner $35 inc GST
Family Pensioner $45 inc GST
Sponsored $10 inc GST

Note: Additional Family badges can be purchased for $5.00.

Our club is truly a family orientated club and throughout the year we hold 11 other competitions for club members only. these cover all areas from the billabongs right through to Melville Island. To see a full list of all our events click HERE.
